Dixie Magnolia LABRADOODLES

Dixie Magnolia Labradoodles
'Combining the Loyalty and Temperament
of the Labrador and Golden Retriever
with the Sophistication and Intelligence of the Po
odle'

Our Mission:

We are hobby breeders of Labradoodles, Goldendoodles and Doubledoodles.  We do not 'mass produce' puppies and we only have one or two litters per year.  Our focus is to give plenty of time to each and every puppy for the attention and care it takes to produce healthy, well socialized puppies. We use Early Neurological Stimulation on our puppies starting when they are one day old. We are passionate about the Labradoodle and Goldendoodle breeds and our mission is to improve these breeds with each litter we raise. We spare no costs on the health and nutrition of our dogs and puppies. Our breeders are tested for genetic defects that could be passed down to future offspring. We do not add any puppies to our breeding program unless they have come from responsible breeders that have completed genetic testing on the parents and follow proper breeding guidelines. All profits from the sale of our puppies go directly back into our breeders, facilities, health testing, health care, nutrition and education.  We have worked ten years to create our bloodline with a focus on health, temperament, coat and conformation.  We are protective of our bloodline and sell our puppies only as pets.  We have a strict spay and neuter policy in our sales contact. Only approved breeders with the same strict breeding ethics as we have will be considered for stud service or given breeding rights to any of our puppies.

We are selective about choosing the homes our puppies enter into. We have brought these puppies into this world and we feel responsible for finding homes in which they will be loved and cared for, treated like members of the family and live long and happy lives. We never want any of our puppies to end up in a shelter or have to find a new home because they have been placed in a home that is not well suited for them or not a good time to add a puppy to their life .  Labradoodles and Goldendoodles are not for everyone. We are always here to help with any behavioral issues that may arise and are careful to place puppies with the family that best suits them. We do have certain requirements for placing our puppies into homes for their, and the new family's best interest. If an unforeseen situation ever arises, however, and a family decides it is in the best interest of the puppy to re-home it, we will take the puppy back at any time and help to find the best new family for the puppy.

While we understand there is an overpopulation of unwanted dogs and puppies in shelters due to irresponsible breeders and dog owners, we know that shelter dogs are not for everyone.  So we want to be responsible breeders and provide the best puppies to those people. We donate to our local animal shelter to help those dogs and puppies who are not as fortunate as the puppies we bring into this world. We have two 15 year old rescue dogs that we care for and had others that lived until they were 14  or 15 years of age.

Our Dogs

Our dogs live in the house with us. They are never kept in kennels. In fact, several of them sleep in the bed with us. They interact with us in our everyday lives. We only feed them premium and homemade dog food. They are genetically tested to make sure they do not pass any diseases or abnormalities to their offspring.
Our guardian puppies are placed in homes in which they will receive the same socialization and care that we give the dogs that live with us. Producing puppies from parents that are well socialized and have interaction with children, people and other dogs helps them have better temperaments and adjust easier to their new environment.

Our Nursery

Our puppies are born in a whelping box in a puppy nursery in our home. We play relaxing music in this room from the time they are born to help relax the mother and puppies. We give a copy of the CD to the new owners to help the puppies in their adjustment into their new surroundings. Around 5 weeks of age, they learn to go through a doggie door into a cedar mulch covered yard to eliminate. This makes potty training much easier for the new owner. We interact with the puppies several times on a daily basis to ensure they receive lots of human contact, affection, exercise and socialization. We use Neurological Stimulation Therapy on the puppies starting the first day they are born. (Please see our page on Early Neurological Stimulation for more information.) They are exposed to normal household sounds such as vacuum cleaners, doorbells, music, television, dog barking, thunder, lawn mowers, sirens, washing machines, etc.

Puppy Care

Pregnant and nursing moms are fed a special diet to insure that the puppies receive the optimum nutrition. We use Early Neurological Stimulation on or puppies starting when they are one day old. Our dogs and puppies are fed only premium quality grain free food and additional vitamin supplements. We keep our puppies until they are 8 weeks of age, which is the best time for them to transition into their new homes. Puppies are up to date on vaccinations administered by a licensed veterinarian, deworming, heart worm preventative, and have had their dew claws removed. They receive a thorough health examination with their first round of vaccinations performed by a licensed veterinarian at six weeks of age and come with a health certificate.
We offer lifetime health guarantee against genetic diseases and defects that we test the parents for, as well as a sales contract and lifetime Breeder support. Puppies go home with a goodie bag filled with toys, treats, collar, leash, a pillow made from a blanket with their sibling's and parent's scent, a pheromone collar to help with anxiety during transportation and the acclimation to a new environment,
Doodle care handbook, and a packet filled with information on care and training.
An approved application is required prior to placement.
We want to do everything possible to protect our newborn puppies from any diseases or illnesses. Therefore, we do not allow any contact with people or animals outside of our home until they have recieved their first vaccinations at six weeks of age.
Please contact us with any questions, or if you would like an application.

Our puppies are born in a clean, climate controlled nursery until they go to their new homes.

We introduce the puppies to crates at about 5 weeks of age, in which they can go and come freely. They learn that a crate is a happy, comfortable, and safe place for them.

Our puppies are born in a 'whelping box' for their health and safety. The 'pig rails' along the edges insure that Mom does not accidentally squish a puppy against the side. Our nursery is climate controlled to ensure that the puppies are always kept at the right temperature anytime of year.

With our 'puppy cams' we are able to monitor the nursery 24/7.

At around 5 weeks of age, the puppies learn to use a doggy door to go outside to use the bathroom in a cedar mulched area. It is not long before they learn to keep their living area clean. This is instrumental in helping the new family with potty training, as they already  know that they potty 'outside'. This area also serves as a big play area with plenty of room for them to run, play, and socialize, and is kept very clean.

Our puppies are fed a nourishing 'Puppy Smoithie' starting at four weeks of age as they start to be weaned off of their Mother. This consists of softened premium puppy food, goats milk, and Puppy Gold, a nutritional supplement. When they are six weeks old they are slowly weaned off of this to dry premium grade puppy kibble. Puppies are weighed regularly to make sure they are gaining weight at the correct rate.

I have a chocolate Labradoodle (Willoughby)who we love and adore from the 2015 litter.
Denise and Randy have brought a spirit of excellence to what a breeder should be. They love and nurture every litter and look to put them in homes with a standard set high to care for these beautiful animals.
My boy is such a smart dog. He has been healthy and has far exceeded our expectations of what this breed would bring to our family! Dixie Magnolia Labradoodles is the only breeder in this area with this kind of integrity.

If you’re looking for a labradoodle, this is the place to go! Denise and her husband are 100 percent dedicated to these pups and their health. She is extremely knowledgeable in the areas of training and everything doodle! She and her husband spent a great deal of time going over everything with our family. I am so pleased with the potty training our Winston had already received by 8 weeks. Their kennel/run facility is set up for training and play

Wow. From the minute we reached out to Denise and Randy it was like we have been friends forever! We had done our research and really wanted to try to find a breeder locally. And we sure did! They are so professional and knowledgeable. They have such an amazing set up and aim to breed for not only traits but personality and intelligence.
We now have had our pup at home for two weeks and he slept through the night from day 1, has started going to the door to tell us he has to potty and has learned to sit. (And more)
Go visit and get to know them and seriously consider them if you are wanting a doodle as part of your family!

December 29, 2016 at 8:50am · Denise and Randy are breeders for the right reasons. They love their dogs, and they really care about the breed. Their dogs are truly part of their family and everyday life. They are extremely helpful with every question we ask about our new puppy.
The best part is that our puppy was practically house trained as soon as we took him home. Denise did an amazing job training the puppies to not dirty their living space.
We can't brag enough about our experience with Denise and Randy. We would highly recommend Dixie Magnolia Labradoodles to anyone that wants an intelligent, playful puppy!

November 26, 2016 · Denise and Randy are absolutely wonderful! The love they have for the puppies along with their own dogs is very evident. They provide top of the line care for the puppies and their own dogs are part of their family. Denise has been wonderful support before I brought my Nola girl home and after. She provided updates and pictures regularly leading up to picking Nola up. I am always getting compliments on what a beautiful dog Nola is! I would not only 100% recommend someone to Denise and Dixie Magnolia when Nola is ready to have a sibling I will surly be getting it from Dixie Magnolia!
Nola is such an sweet girl and my little love!
