Process and Requirements for Purchasing a Puppy
Steps for purchasing a Dixie Magnolia Labradoodle Puppy
1. Request and Submit an Application. (click the box to the left of this link on MORE)
2. After approval of the application, agree to the terms of the sales contract/health guarantee.
3. With a refundable $100.00 deposit, your name is placed on the waiting list in the order it is received.
4. When puppies are born, an additional $200.00 refundable deposit is required to keep your place on the waiting list.
You have the option of staying on the waiting list in the position you are in, or you can be removed from the waiting list (if your desired color, sex, etc. is not available) and your deposit can either be:
a. refunded
b. applied to the next litter and be placed on that waiting list.
6. Puppy selections will be made when the puppies are 6 weeks of age.
If you SELECT a puppy from the litter, a second $300. deposit (total of $600.) and the signed contract is required at that time. At this point your total deposit amount is NON REFUNDABLE, and NON TRANSFERRABLE. However, it can be applied to a puppy from the next, or a future litter if circumstances arise to prevent you from obtaining a puppy at this time.
If you DO NOT select a puppy from the litter (Ex: the sex, color, coat type, etc. you desire is no longer available) your deposit can either be:
a. refunded
b. applied to the next litter and be placed on that waiting list
7. Final payment is due before or at the time of puppy pick up or delivery. (Aprox. 8 weeks of age) If final payment is made by check, we must receive the check at least 14 days prior to pick up. If final payment is made at time of pickup, cash or cashier’s check will be required.
We feel that this system is fair to the Breeder as well as the Buyer. We do not want to ‘lock’ in anyone by forever holding their deposit early in the process when the desired puppy is not available. It is important to us that everyone get the qualities they are looking for in a puppy and not have to settle for anything less. It is an important decision, a long term commitment and a big investment. We want it to be the right one for everyone.
